Chicago trading restricted free agent Lauri Markkanen to Cleveland on a four-year, $67M deal

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired forward Lauri Markannen in a sign-and-trade with the Chicago Bulls, says a tweet from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
This would be a big boost for the struggling Cavaliers, and fill a key position for them. Markannen avereaged14 points per game last season. The price tag of $67 still seems like a pretty high price for a 4 year deal.
For the whole trade deal to carry through Cleveland will send their forward Larry Nance Jr. to the Blazers and the Portland Trail Blazers will trade forward Derrick Jones Jr., who was a protected first-round pick and a protected 2023 second-round pick to Chicago.
Expect a lot more off-season transactions to happen over the next few weeks, things are just getting started.
